About me
I am a Birth and
Postnatal Doula supporting women and their families in North Lancashire,
Yorkshire and Cumbria
I want to help women achieve the most positive birth experience possible by offering emotional and physical support throughout labour and birth. I am there to support your choices and decisions regarding your labour and birth, and will remain with you throughout labour to comfort and reassure you.
With a wealth of personal life skills I hope to make the birth of your child the kind of experience you hope for.
As your postnatal Doula, I can offer a helping hand around the house with light housework and care of any other children you may already have. I can also be there for help and support with your new baby. In this role, the hours can be quite flexible to meet your needs.
I am a mother and grandmother. Have experienced many types of birth from caesarean to home delivery.
I have many years breastfeeding 'knowledge' and also understanding of most ways of life from teenage pregnancy to the trials and trauma of IVF.
Happy to assist and support with Lotus Birth. Also give help and support with Kangaroo care, should your baby arrive early
I am CRB checked.
