Do you work within the NHS?

Are you a Holistic Practitioner?

Are you working with premature and sick babies?

Do you work in a care home for the elderly?

Yes? Then this workshop will enhance the way you do your work!

What is 'Cuddle Therapy'? ........ It is the release of emotion - to enable healing -  by 'exchanging energy'.

In this workshop I will explain how Cuddle Therapy came into being and how I believe it works with the body.

I developed this therapy almost 4 years ago with the idea that using reborn dolls appeared to bring emotion to the surface, allowing me to use EFT to disperse that emotion. Little did I know that I would now be using this with:

·Dementia

·Alzheimer’s

·Depression

·P.T.S.D

·Grief

·Baby loss

·Child loss

·IVF

·And many more.

I will talk about and demonstrate how Cuddle Therapy is now used with Imagineering and intention, (and not always with reborn's), especially in the Neonatal unit, with PTSD and Dementia. Using it within the NHS, care homes and within the home. I will show you how you can make a difference in the life of a loved one or somebody you care for within your work.

This workshop will give you the tools and confidence to make that extra difference. I am sure you will take this information away and find it an invaluable tool within your work. Much of the ‘techniques’ used in Cuddle Therapy are now backed up by scientific fact! See my website for more details:  www.bellawitch.com

Spend 1 day making a difference forever!

A knowledge of EFT is an advantage but not a necessity.

First, treat them as spirits. They are spirits, entering a physical body. That is not an easy thing for a spirit to do; not an easy thing for a spirit to get used to. It is very confining, very limiting. So the child, will cry out at suddenly being so limited. Hear this cry. Understand it. And give your children as much of a sense of ‘ unlimitedness ‘ as you possibly can.

.

A half-day workshop talking about being Spiritual parenting. Lets talk about how we are able to help and advice these spiritual beings from before birth onwards.
What are their needs?
How are we able to protect these precious souls?
I will talk about pre-birth, pregnancy, birth, baby, and childhood and beyond. Discuss feeding, health care (West and East), education, and much more.

“Each child is a reflection of the divine, each birth an opportunity for us to again learn the great and only lesson of love” – (Jack Kornfield)

“Our children have come to our world to teach us how to love again. If we are paying attention, we can see how they invite us, in every moment, to deepen, grow, and open”. ( Jill E. Hopkins)

Join us in a relaxed atmosphere and share your experiences or concerns.

£30 - including refreshments

at

Masonic Hall

St. Johns Street,

This day can be about the passing of a loved one, be it family, friend or pet.

Perhaps you are going through the end of a relationship, divorce?

Are the effects of a difficult time in your life staying with you, leaving you finding it hard to move on?

Becoming a parent is a life-changing event and can
sometimes not be as you had planned.

Have your family grown and left home? Leaving you feeling ‘empty’ and that you have no ‘role’ to play.

Loss of identity. Maybe you have recently become lost your job.

A serious illness, operation can leave you feeling 'different', disconnected from your previous life.

All these emotions and more will be talked about and helped in this 1-day workshop, within a safe and friendly environment.

Kind words about my work:

From a family who have been helped by Cuddle Therapy:

"They came to me last month and told me about this family ~ mum had lost a baby boy when he was fourteen weeks old ~ the little girl (seven years old) took his death particularly hard and began to self harm. The idea of a reborn and cuddle therapy was brought into the arena by her child therapist so they came to the group looking for help ~ the mum requested an open eyed doll as she couldn't cope with a closed eyed one ~ so i began to liase with the family and made the reborn for this little girl.
Three weeks later ~ the little girl is still delighted with her baby and the self harming stopped the moment the doll was placed in her arms! the mum is feeling positive the doll has brought peace and the little girl is able to now (after only a few short weeks) talk about her baby brother and is beginning to accept he is safe and well in heaven. I don't think there is a stronger case i have been involved in."

From a care home in Devon:

I first saw these lifelike baby dolls about 4 years ago. My staff and I were very impressed and how 'real' they appeared. we took the dolls to a number of our residents, and were so impressed with the reactions the dolls generated that we did actually order one from Ruth.

Our residents, especially the ladies, seemed to believe the dolls really were babies and held them as though they were. They gained a lot of pleasure from cradling the dolls and there was an obvious look of contentment on our residents' faces as they rocked and loved the 'babies' Some of our residents were very interested in how the 'babies' were dressed, because the clothes were quite different from the baby clothes that they would have dressed their own babies in over 60 years ago.

We also had relatives of our residents visiting at the time, and they to were surprised at the reactions these dolls had on their loved ones.

I believe these dolls would be beneficial in many care settings, my home cares for sufferers of Dementia and the dolls did seem to have a calming effect on my residents, and also provided them with a sense of emotional wellbeing.

From a lovely lady who attended my workshops

Since doing Ruth's Cuddle Therapy and Life after Grief workshops, I have felt better than I have felt for a very long time. Ruth has done more for me in the few months that I have known her, than anyone else in my life. She fully understands the emotions and depths of sorrow you go through after the loss of a loved one and had helped me to understand that death is not the end of a loved one, it is only the beginning! Without Ruth I would still be struggling daily with my feelings of despair and loss, instead I feel whole again, I know that the loss of a loved one is something we will live with for the rest of our lives but with Ruth's help, you can 'live' with that loss and enjoy life, in the knowledge that we are all connected and will one day return to the place where our loved ones wait to welcome us with open arms.
God bless you Ruth. You are an angel on earth. xx
